Fecomércio opens registration for a technical mission at the largest retail fair in the world

Trade companies, industries and representatives of the service sector already have the opportunity to participate in the largest retail fair in the world, Retail’s Big Show, organized by the National Retail Federation (NRF). Fecomércio MS (Sistema Comércio MS) and Senac are organizing a technical mission that will guide business people and interested parties from the trade, services and tourism segments of Mato Grosso do Sul to learn about the news from the cradle of world retail, which will take place between 13 and January 21, 2023 in New York, United States.

To facilitate the participation of entrepreneurs, Fecomércio MS and Sebrae MS will offer a subsidy of 50% for micro and small enterprises (30% Sebrae and 20% Fecomércio), and 30% for medium and large enterprises, granted by Fecomércio MS. Subsidies will be intended for companies in the segment of trade in goods, services and tourism, taxpayers and those who comply with the Trade System, with one vacancy per CNPJ. The number of places is limited, and registrations are mandatory in order to organize the necessary procedures for the trip.

The president of MS Comércio Systema, Edison Araújo, emphasizes the importance of the technical mission for the retail entrepreneur. “It is another opportunity that Commerce System makes available to all those who want to be up to date with global trends in retail, gathering a global vision and bringing that vision to our local reality, bringing this entrepreneur closer to the market and technologies, serving as inspiration and transformation.” says Edison Araújo.

In addition to participating in the event, mission members will make technical visits to reference companies, with different cases, with specialized mentors to mediate and facilitate knowledge at the fair and during the visit. The group’s technical leadership will be provided by retail and consumer expert Caio Camargo, commercial director of Linx, one of the country’s largest technology companies. Camargo is one of the market references when it comes to selling more and better.

Also by the co-founder and CHRO at Credere, Fred Alecrim, curator of international trends, with more than 26 years of experience in business through lectures, mentoring and training. Retail experts will guide MS representatives during the technical visit, helping entrepreneurs better understand the concepts presented by each company visited and how to implement the information gained in each business.

The director of Senac MS, Vitor Mello, explains that the technical mission is an opportunity for entrepreneurs and executives in the segment to immerse themselves, acquiring basic knowledge to add value to their businesses, directly from the cradle of retail, where the main world trends coming to the market.

Retail’s Big Show – organized by (NRF) – the National Retail Federation of the United States -, the convention deals with strategic topics for the future of the area. The event brings together topics of interest to retailers, such as shopping experience, service management, innovation, visual merchandising, store design, e-commerce, digital presence and consumer behavior. At the same time, around 800 suppliers of products and services are exhibiting at the fair, demonstrating the latest technologies for business improvement. In total, there will be more than 250 speakers who will discuss retail trends and present new technologies in the sector.
