Higher education: there were 26 courses without placement in the first phase. If you go to the second one, here are the 10 with the most vacancies
It is in the interior of the country, more precisely in Bragança, that the courses are repeated without a single candidate and where there are more vacancies for the second phase.
In this year’s competition for access to higher education, there were 26 courses without a placed candidate. In total, they correspond to 690 vacancies that remained empty.
For example, the Renewable Energy Engineering course at the Faculty of Technology and Management of Bragança, Polytechnic Institute of Bragança, had 75 vacancies. None are filled.
Castelo Branco, Beja, Viseu, Portalegre or Guarda are other places where abandoned courses are registered, which confirms the disinterest of candidates in the academic offer in the interior of the country. On the list of empty courses, practically all of them are engineering.
In the competition for access to higher education this year, there were 265 courses with vacancies that can now be filled in the second phase. Another 838 courses are fully booked – depending, therefore, on the printing of places so that others can enter.
