With an intuitive and simple interface, Wondershare Filmora is a good choice for users who are new to video editing. The best desktop alternative to CapCut, it has features like 4K editing support, speed control, denoising, frame-by-frame preview, color adjustment, speed control, video stabilization, sound equalizer, split screen and scene detection. Available for Windows and Mac, the editor lets you share videos with friends and family or upload them directly to YouTube. To remove the tag, you must subscribe to one of the premium plans. Quarterly (R$124.99), Annual (R$224.99) and Perpetual (R$349.99) modalities are individual and include the same resources for video, audio and color editing, media inventory, storage and speech-to-text and text-to-speech services. To use the editor, you need to access the official website (https://filmora.wondershare.com.br/) and download it by clicking on “Free Trial”.

Shotcut is a free video editor available for Windows, Mac and Linux systems. More advanced, it has several audio tools, such as a tone generator, mixing, filters and transitions. Video features include a wide range of filters, color correction functions and a track merge mode. On the other hand, the editing interface is not that intuitive and can be a bit complex for those who have no editing experience.

Still, Shotcut can be a good alternative to CapCut. The software supports several video formats thanks to FFmpeg (a computer program that records, converts and streams audio and video in various formats) and can output videos in 4K resolution. To use ShotCut, simply go to “shotcut.org” (without the quotes), select “Click to Download” and select the appropriate operating system.

OpenShot is an open source editor that offers various 3D animations and video effects. Available for Windows, Linux and Mac systems, the application has an easy-to-use interface and is ideal for anyone looking for a simple alternative to CapCut. With it, you can trim and resize clips, insert transitions, titles, sound effects, and more. The software supports multiple audio, image and video formats as it is based on the FFmpeg library. To download OpenShot, simply go to “openshot.org/en/”, click on “Transfer” and select the system in question.

Along with the free version, there are several options for paid plans. The most complete, called Movavi Unlimited, has a unique price of R$ 239.95 and includes all the features of the platform in one package: access to all special effects, photo editing tools, video game recording and streaming, media library, among others. To download the editor, go to “movavi.com/en/”, choose the package that best suits your needs, pay and download. If you choose the free plan, just access the website and go to “Download for free”.

With a Movavi-like interface, ClipChamp has all the resources needed to produce good videos, such as ready-made templates for different themes and audio and video libraries.
